Miss Joanne Ha began her study of speech pathology in the Cumberland College of Health Sciences (Sydney University) in 1983 under the Government scholarship. Following her graduation in 1987, she became a pioneer in the HK speech pathology profession. She practiced in the HK Association for the Mentally Handicapped until 1991, when she worked as a clinical supervisor in the HKU Speech and Hearing Sciences Department. With the wider scope of service, Miss Ha has the vision of emotions and family interactions pose inevitable influence to the effectiveness of treatment. She made an innovative move to the psychotherapy profession. Until 2012, she acquired the Master of Counselling and Child Psychotherapy Graduate Diploma from Monash University of Australia. She is a NLP practitioner, Somatic Experiencing (for trauma healing) practitioner.
